Sunderland Ives was founded by our Directors, Nick Sunderland and Paul Ives, who have over 50 years combined experience in the Construction Industry. The majority of this experience has been working in dispute resolution and holding senior board positions in leading consultancies and contracting organisations. This high level experience has led to an in-depth understanding of our client’s needs when a dispute arises or indeed advising on procedures and providing in-house training in order to prevent disputes from arising.
If a dispute arises, Sunderland Ives recognises that this can be a challenging and worrying time for many clients, especially when key staff and resources are engaged on other schemes unaffected by the dispute. As such, we always strive to work with our clients to quickly understand the nature of the dispute and propose practical and cost effective strategies to resolve the dispute and, wherever possible, recognise the need for maintaining our client’s trading relationships in how the dispute is dealt with.
